The voice of my 2-year-old son is my alarm clock. He usually cries “Mama” every time he wakes up. That’s the start of my simple and hectic life.
5:00 – 5:30 Prepare myself for breakfast (good thing I have my yaya to prepare the breakfast so I’ll just prepare myself)
5:30 – 6:30 Feeds my son, Give his vitamins and Brushes his teeth
6:30 – 7:00 Bathe my son and dress him up
7:00 – 7:30 Take a bath and Get dressed for work
7:30 – 8:00 Travel Time to Office
Have you ever been in a court room? For me, that’s my second home because I work there. Some say working there is boring because it’s a government office. Well, they are wrong. Working under the Judiciary is very exciting and interesting.
Since I am the criminal case in charge in our Sala or Court, I have very busy working hours.
8:00 – 8:30 Prepares my table for work and check on records before the court hearing starts
8:30 – 10:30 Assists at Court Sessions
10:30 – 11:00 Have my snacks while working
11:00 – 12:00 Do some paper works while watching “Be Careful with my Heart” (chuckles..)
12:00 – 1:00 Lunch Break (Goes home)
During lunch break, I see to it that I have to go home for me to check on my son. I have to see to it that he’s doing fine while I’m away for work.
1:00 – 3:00 Entertains client with courtesy, of course, because for a government employee it is a must to serve the public with utmost courtesy.
3:00 – 5:00 Do some paper works again while having snacks and at the same watching “Kung Ako’y IIwan Mo”.
You will notice that I also have time to relax even in work. As saying goes, “All work with no play makes me a dull girl” Hahahaha…
My work in office doesn’t end there because even at malls when I happen to pass by court clients, I have to at least say Hi and greet them, because if we are kind to others they will also bring kindness unto us. So I don’t have to worry much when the tricycle drivers will refuse to take me for a ride because when they recognize me, they will not hesitate to take me wherever I want to go.
5:00 – 12:00 Attend to my husband and son (I devote most of my time at home for my family)
That’s my not so boring life. Though routinary, I am enjoying it a lot!
