Don-Dom’s Salted Egg Shrimp

My family loves to try and experiment new foods that will really satisfy our cravings. And may I present to you our own version of salted egg shrimp, the Don-Dom’s Salted Egg Shrimp. It is named after my two die hard fans, because for them I am the best chef in town. haha.. Just give them the credit of calling me that name. I really love to cook food for them. Whatever they like, I give it a try and sometimes I nailed it, sometimes not. Anyway, at least they are still there cheering whenever I cook. 

So, let’s get started. Take a look at the photo below, 

As seen in the photo, the main ingredients are there: 1kilo shrimp (I cleaned and removed the sharp parts of the shrimp), tomato (cut into bits), garlic (chopped), chili (cut into bits, if you have bell pepper, add it), 3 salted eggs (crushed), butter (2 tablespoon), oil (I used canola oil), black pepper and salt to taste.

Now, we are ready to cook. 1. Cook the chopped garlic in a 3 teaspoon oil until near near color brown, 2. Add the shrimp in the pan and cook for 10 mins or until it turned color orange, 3. Add the other ingredients, butter, tomato and salted egg mixed it evenly, 4. Add the chili or bell pepper, 5. Add the black pepper and salt to taste. Take note, taste it first before putting salt, because some salted eggs are really salty, so it’s up to you if you are still going to add salt or not, or maybe just a bit. After 5 mins turn the fire off. By the way, I am using Neoflam cookwares and La Germania gas top, I really love my cooking partners.
